Easter in Bø: Ukrainian Traditions United People from Different Countries

Christ is risen! The Easter service in St. Thomas Chapel became a true celebration of unity. Together with Ukrainians from three municipalities, Norwegians and guests from other countries shared the joy of the feast. After the prayer, we held a Ukrainian Easter bread (paska) festival for 150 Norwegian friends, sang church hymns, and thanked Norway for its support during these difficult times.

Ukrainians and Norwegians gathered near the city hall to pray together for fallen heroes, civilians, and the soldiers who fight for our freedom today.
