Thank You, Lord, for meetings.
First and foremost, for the miracle of meeting You. For this meeting has changed us and given us the happiness of living with You and being Your children.
We also thank You for the meetings with other people whom You send across our life’s path. For every such meeting of ours is a revelation of eternity. For every such meeting gives us the opportunity to see Your image and, through another person, to touch eternity.
And today we pray to You for a special gift. The gift of being open to meetings. To meeting other people, to meeting another experience, to meeting suffering, to meeting joy, to meeting love.
Grant us the inspiration to be open to others. Grant us the openness to see in every meeting a person created and saved by You. Grant us the wisdom to treat everyone You send to meet us with attentiveness. Grant us the happiness of filling our lives with the strength, experience, and faith of those we meet.
Faith is passed through an eye-to-eye meeting. The life of faith surges where we encounter holiness and the experience of knowing You. So we pray to You: grant us moments of meetings with people who live by eternity. Grant us the experience of seeing true faith, hope, and love. Grant us the experience of knowing You, Lord, through meetings with other people. May these meetings bring the movement of the Holy Spirit into our lives, so that we all may become a source of faith and grace.
