Give your child a summer they will remember forever! The Orthodox Mission of St. Olav invites children and teenagers aged 9–15 to the “Path of Goodness” summer mountain camp, taking place on July 26–31, 2026, in picturesque Telemark. Six days of true childhood await the children: mountain hikes, creative workshops, evenings by the campfire, an introduction to Christian values, and heartfelt fellowship. On the Day of the Holy Trinity, May 31, the Mission of St. Olav invites Orthodox believers of Narvik municipality to the Divine Liturgy, which will be celebrated by Fr. Andriі Pinchuk. The divine service will take place on the premises of the Catholic church, and we express our sincere gratitude to them for their help with the organization. This is a blessed time for shared prayer, confession, communion, and warm fellowship over coffee.

On May 25, a unique “Three Churches” pilgrimage stretching nearly 20 kilometers from Nes Church to the old Bø Church takes place in Midt-Telemark municipality. This prayer procession combines ancient Christian traditions of the West and the East. A special event along the route will be a stop at the ruins of the old church near Gørte, where ancient Orthodox church chants will be sung. This is a wonderful opportunity for our mission to share the beauty of the Orthodox spiritual tradition and to strengthen ties between Christians of different denominations in Norway.

In Norway, an important period of entrance examinations is beginning, marking a special phase for Ukrainian youth. The upcoming Divine Liturgy at the Thomas Chapel in Bø (May 2 at 9:00 AM) will be dedicated to praying for these applicants to support them during this time of decisions and anxiety. We invite everyone to join in shared prayer, confession, and communion so that our young men and women may feel the blessing of the Church at this crucial moment.

On April 11, a festive divine service will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, offering the opportunity for confession and Holy Communion. The program includes a festive liturgy at 09:30, the blessing of Easter breads (paskas) at 11:00, and a special cultural program for our Norwegian friends in the main church at 12:00. A prayer that unites: the November divine service took place in the town of Bø. We remembered the victims of the Holodomor and prayed together for our soldiers and peace in Ukraine. The small chapel became a place of strength for the Ukrainian community of Telemark. Thank you to everyone for joining us in shared prayer!
