The first day of our children’s camp “Path of Goodness” began with warm smiles and long-awaited reunions. The main group of children arrived at 1:00 PM via organized transfer, while others were brought directly by their parents.
We hosted a welcoming coffee for the parents, who were deeply impressed by the Gjønbu church complex. They were amazed by how beautifully designed, comfortable, and child-friendly everything was.
After a delicious lunch, the fun officially began! The camp counselors got to know the children through engaging icebreaker games. Soon, the area was filled with energy as the kids played volleyball, ran around, and enjoyed some dancing.
A special highlight of the day was a visit from a scout, who shared fascinating stories about scouting and outdoor adventures. To top off an unforgettable first day, everyone gathered for a delicious BBQ dinner and roasted sweet marshmallows together. We also prayed together several times and listened to a short sermon by Father Andrii Pinchuk.
It was the perfect start to our camp adventure!
