On the 25th, our team gathered to prepare everything needed for the start of the camp. Volunteers traveled from various places — Germany, Poland, Ukraine, and different corners of Norway. United by a common goal, we met on this scenic mountain to create an unforgettable and warm experience for the children.
The preparation required seamless teamwork. We cleaned and arranged the premises, held a final coordination meeting to assign roles among the volunteers, reviewed the menu, and carefully planned the activity schedule. Beyond the logistics, it was an essential time for our international team to get to know one another and bond.
The spiritual cornerstone of our preparation was a shared prayer service. We offered a prayer of blessing (moleben), asking the Lord to guide our labor, and felt divine inspiration for the days ahead. Despite a short night with very little sleep, we woke up energized and joyfully kicked off the very first day of camp!
