This year’s Easter journey of the Mission of St. Olav was marked by a special event — our first trip to the town of Førde. It was a historic moment, as an Orthodox divine service was held in this town for the first time in four years.
Since we were unable to find an available church building, we rented a hall in an industrial zone, which for the duration of the service was transformed into a place of shared prayer and spiritual unity. Despite the unusual location, many people gathered for the service. It was a joy to see so many families with children coming together for confession and Holy Communion. After the prayer concluded, we had a wonderful opportunity to get to know each other better, talk over coffee, and enjoy festive treats. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and heartfelt.
