This year, we welcomed Christmas in a very special atmosphere — within the close and cozy circle of our community. The small chapel in Bø was filled with candlelight and sincere prayer, uniting us all despite the distance from our homes. It was a service where everyone felt the supportive shoulder of their neighbor, and singing carols together reminded us of the resilience of our spirit.
We prayed for peace in Ukraine and for everyone who could not be at the festive table today. This Christmas proved once again: even in the darkest times, the light of Christ and the warmth of human hearts can work miracles, turning distant Norway into a place where we feel at home.
