Ukrainian Food Festival in Bø: A Celebration of Taste and Unity

After the festive liturgy, the churchyard in Bø transformed into a true hub of Ukrainian culture. We organized a festival of traditional Easter food to thank the local community for their support and to introduce our Norwegian friends to our customs. Guests had the opportunity to taste fluffy paskas (Easter breads), pysankas (decorated Easter eggs), and other dishes prepared with love and prayer.
Over 150 Norwegians joined our celebration, where, to the sound of Orthodox chants, we spoke about what matters most: faith, hope, and a shared future. It was not just a lunch, but a sincere dialogue of cultures, where every treat told a story of Ukraine, and every smile strengthened the bond between our nations. Thank you to everyone who shared this joy with us!
