We continue our Christmas journey along the roads of Norway. On December 27, we were hospitably welcomed by Sirdal municipality—an amazing mountain region where the beauty of nature intertwines with the depth of human faith. Here, among the majestic rocks, our shared Christmas and Theophany Divine Liturgy took place. The local Christian community never ceases to amaze us with its sincerity and kindness. These are people who do not just talk about faith, but embody a true evangelical life in their every action, warming us with their heartiness during these winter days.
A special and extraordinarily valuable moment of this service was the assistance of Father Andrii Pinchuk’s grandson, Herman. He helped translate words of gratitude to our Norwegian friends, becoming a living bridge between our cultures and generations. It is a great joy to see young people getting involved in the common cause, helping to bear witness to the gratitude of the Ukrainian people for the incredible support we feel here, in the very heart of Norway.
