The Easter joy of 2026 swept across Norway, uniting believers during an apostolic journey spanning over 3,300 kilometers. The route wound through numerous communities where warm gatherings and shared prayers awaited us: from the capital city of Oslo and dynamic Drammen to the picturesque towns of Telemark — Notodden, Porsgrunn, and Fyresdal.
We gathered in churches with unique acoustics and cozy spaces that became places of spiritual unity. Regardless of the location, an atmosphere of celebration and hope prevailed everywhere.
By tradition, the solemn services, confession, and Holy Communion were followed by the blessing of Easter baskets and warm fellowship around a shared table. This breaking of the fast became a special time for heartfelt conversations and support, helping everyone feel the joy of the Resurrection.
We express our deep gratitude to the Lutheran Church of Norway and all local communities for their invaluable help and hospitality.
Christ is Risen!
