This year’s Easter journey of the Mission of St. Olav through Western Norway passed through the picturesque towns of Askvoll, Florø, and Sykkylven. These gatherings became an important part of our mission, aimed at providing spiritual care and support to Orthodox believers in various regions of the country.
A special festive atmosphere prevailed in each town. The communities gathered for shared prayer, had the opportunity to go to confession and receive Holy Communion, and blessed their Easter baskets. Such moments of sincere fellowship and connection help Ukrainians feel unity and mutual support far from home.
We express our deep gratitude to the Lutheran Church of Norway (Den norske kirke) for their fruitful cooperation and for providing premises for our services. Your solidarity and hospitality are an important testament to the Christian love that unites us around the bright joy of the Resurrection of Christ.
