This year’s Easter journey could not bypass Sogndal — a town that has welcomed the Mission of St. Olav with exceptional warmth for many consecutive years. For us, this is already a fond tradition, as a strong community has formed here, with whom we have walked a long path together.
The program of the visit was rich and spiritually profound. We held a festive divine service, where everyone had the opportunity to join in shared prayer. The service was followed by the traditional blessing of Paskas and Easter baskets. Fellowship always holds a special place in these trips: we talked a lot, shared news, and supported one another in faith. It was a true touchstone of our mission’s history and a joyful celebration of the Resurrection of Christ.
We sincerely thank the Lutheran Church of Norway (Den norske kirke) for their long-standing support and for providing a cozy space for our gatherings in Sogndal. Your hospitality allows us to feel right at home.
