Lord, we thank You for this spring, for the miracle of the awakening of all living things, and for the joy of witnessing the renewal of life.
But in these spring days, we especially thank You for Your resurrection. We pray that You rid us of fear and despair, just as You once delivered the apostles after Your resurrection. They stayed in the room in fear. But after Your appearance, they went into the world to carry Your word and Your love. So appear to us as well.
Be with us every day, every minute, and every second.
Hold us, just as You once held Peter above the watery abyss. Bless us, just as You once blessed the apostles. We pray for You to grant us strength, inspiration, and joy. Strength to live, inspiration to create, and joy to communicate. And to carry Your word and Your love to everyone we meet each day. And to witness to the world the miracle of Your resurrection.
